Hi and welcome to my website!
My name is Marina — I’m a Croatian, Aussie, and British Fitness & Bodybuilding Athlete, Judge, Fitness Model, as well as a Level III Certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Advisor.
My sports story began when I was just a little girl. I trained in Jazz Dance at a prestigious dance school in Zagreb, Croatia, run by the renowned ballerina Edita Cebalo. During high school, I performed for Senna M, a Bosnian–Croatian pop-dance singer, dancer, lyricist, composer, and producer — an unforgettable experience that deepened my love for performing and movement.
Alongside dance, I also competed in national-level swimming, and I’ve always loved staying active. Coming from a very sporty family — football players (including my mum!), water polo players, boxers, UFC fighters, dancers, and runners — it’s no surprise that my own career followed a similar athletic path.
After completing my A Levels in London, I graduated with a BA (Hons) in Journalism and Communication Studies with Italian. I spent the final year of my degree in Bologna, Italy, perfecting my Italian and soaking in the beauty of Italian culture.
It was during my university years that I truly discovered my passion for fitness and bodybuilding. While working in the media after graduation, I also trained clients as a Personal Trainer — and before long, fitness became my full-time career.
Since then, I’ve worked in some of the top gyms, training a wide range of clients — including celebrities — with diverse health and fitness goals. Competing in fitness and bodybuilding shows both nationally and internationally eventually led me to become a judge in the sport as well.
Fitness has opened many exciting doors — from fitness modelling and promotional work to charity and patronage. One organization especially close to my heart is the Wheelchair Dance Sport Association (WDSA) UK, whose mission and community I’m deeply proud to support.
Today, I’m a proud mum of two happy bambinos, and I’ve recently earned another qualification — this time in teaching. Home schooling is going beautifully, and I’m doing my best to pass on my fitness and nutrition knowledge to my little ballerina and young footballer.
Thank you for taking the time to read about my journey.
Now it’s your turn — tell me about your goals!
How would you like to work on your fitness and wellbeing?
I’m always happy to help.

In August 2012 in Sapri, Italy I was named IBFA Croatia president and since then I have taken athletes to compete as far as India, judged shows nationally and internationally not only for IBFA federation but across other federations as well.

In September 2011 I became" Wheelchair Dance Sports Association UK" Patron which was a great privilege and I really have enjoyed every bit of this journey before my move to Australia.

What an honour to be pronounced an athlete of the moth this year as well as, be aired in BBC Documentary "Cherry's Body Dilemmas" where she examines her own and other women's body image issues ...
